Meet Maestro
Understand what stays on your computer and what gets sent.
Maestro is a desktop app. Documents, results, and settings are stored locally; features that use AI providers send them the content needed for analysis.
Local files and history
Documents, results, modules, orchestras, and history are stored in the configured location on your computer. Strictly local modules do not need to send text to a provider to perform their analysis.
Data sent for the features you use
Reviews using online models, AI conversations, assistants, and key validation may contact providers. Reference materials may also be sent, depending on your settings. The handling and retention of this data follow the terms of each service.
Filters before analysis
You can create local filters to mask names, email addresses, identifiers, and patterns you define. Check the rules and preview substitutions before sending. Filters depend on what you configure and do not guarantee that all sensitive data will be identified.
Keys in the credential store
Keys are stored in Windows Credential Manager or macOS Keychain. Do not include credentials in text, references, or screenshots. The privacy policy explains how the app and website work.
Using the app
Open Maestro Help to review the steps and controls in your version. File and web search availability depends on the model and mode you choose.
